We were asked to create a logo for Drag! – an amazingly fun and hilarious drag show, late last year. It was well worth the effort to create the tiny detailed sequins for this jewel encrusted beauty. I promise it has no where near as much glitz as the ladies themselves. I had to laugh after the fourth phone call from Amelia Airhead (the uber-glamorous organiser of the show) requesting more sequins. Here’s where we settled with the final artwork. Thanks to Porlin Chin who helped with working on all the details. You can see my brush with fame in the full-length post. You’ll have to pardon the image quality – it was taken with my iphone!
I just finished art directing this campaign for Ambulance Victoria, around raising awareness about the importance of performing CPR. We’ve used a light-hearted approach to a serious subject. We have created a Facebook App with some pretty wicked squishy old person sounds.
UPDATE: The campaign has been toned-down since the launch date due to a concurrently running school children’s program (read: microsite is now sans innuendo and the game is without provocative sound effects – we got to keep the sexy sax music though). Screenshots of the original campaign are posted below. Watch the hilarious cinema ad created by Swinburn University students here.
